Chelsea and Alex looked perfect for their midsummer France Park engagement session against this adventurous backdrop. France Park was the perfect setting to tell their story!
Can I just say they both have the best hair I’ve ever seen?
France Park is a hidden gem tucked inside the little Indiana town of Logansport. Steep cliffs look over a former quarry. Winding creeks and even a cascading waterfall contrast Indiana’s typically flat and monotonous landscape. Originally, the quarry was abandoned when an underground river flooded the site. The water is super clear and a deep shade of blue. During the summer, scuba divers from all over come to dive into the quarry’s depths and catch a glimpse of the park’s rare paddlefish. And all this uniqueness makes France Park a great place for a whimsical and ethereal photoshoot that really incorporates the great outdoors.
Sometimes when the sun is shining down through the trees on the creek that runs through the woods, it truly looks like something out of a fairytale.
Finally, if you’re hot after the photoshoot, you can always hit the beach. Chelsea and Alex splashed around at the end of their session and it made for my favorite moments!
You can make your engagement photos have wild adventurous vibes through more than just your location choice. Consider going barefoot for a bit!
Chelsea and Alex made photographing them easy by jumping into the water and daring to get a little wild for their woodsy photoshoot.
Don’t be afraid to push the limits and let yourself go a little bit. The more playful the better, and you’ll be able to see the happiness radiate from your engagement session.
