Romantic Catholic Wedding in Carmel, Indiana | Kelsey Lefever Photography

I'm Kelsey

Hi there! I'm an intimate wedding and elopement photographer who calls Indiana home, but is constantly going somewhere else. I've stood on top of Kilimanjaro, went scuba diving with eagle rays in the Keys, helped protect elephants in Kenya, and hiked the best views in Yosemite. I believe love stories are the greatest stories, and I'm here to help you create a wedding day that feels like you: fun, adventurous, and a little untraditional.

Romantic Catholic Wedding in Carmel, Indiana

Ellen and Danny have been together since they were fifteen, can you believe that? They met at high school cross country practice and have been together ever since. I absolutely loved watching their families love on them this whole day. There were a lot of tears: Ellen’s first look with her bridesmaids, Ellen’s first look with her dad, the ceremony, the toasts, my oh my.

Ellen and her bridesmaids started out the day getting ready at the Ironworks Hotel, and then we headed to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for the ceremony, where Ellen has attended church for years. We did newlywed photos at the Carmel High School cross country course (my heart melted), and then bounced to the reception at 1899 in Indianapolis!

This wedding is close to my heart for a lot of reasons, but one of them is that Ellen and Danny booked me forevvvvver ago, way back when I only had two weddings under my belt! By the time their wedding rolled around, I’d shot around 20 more, and I’m forever thankful that they trusted me way back when I was starting out. This day was gorgeous.

Congratulations, Ellen and Danny!
